Aula D - Old SISSA building

SISSA Miramare campus
Description

Astro@Ts 2019 will be organised under the umbrella of the new Institute of Fundamental Physics of the Universe.

The event will take place on 24-25 June 2019 in Aula D in the old SISSA building at the Miramare campus.

This meeting, occurring every other year, aims at gathering all young scientists in town working on astrophysics related themes. As usual, we are planning to use a format based on long and short talks which will be scheduled accordingly to the research topics (tentatively: Astroparticle Physics, Astrophysical probes of fundamental interactions; Early Universe; Gravitational Wave Astrophysics; Structures in the Universe; Theory and Phenomenology of Gravity; Instrumentation; Computing).

PhD students and post-docs are the main speaker targets, but we welcome other contributors, including younger students.

We invite students, post-docs, and everybody interested to contact the local organizer of their institute (see LOC list) to confirm their participation and indicate their research area.

Please, note:
20 min = 15 min for the presentation + 5 min for Q&A
15 min = 12 min for the presentation + 3 min for Q&A
