Welcome reception will be held on Monday October 14, at the T-Hotel, conference venue, from 19:00 to around 20:20. The welcome attendance is included in the fees for all registered participants.

Wednesday, October 16th: Social Excursion
Excursion to the Su Nuraxi archaeological site in Barumini is planned in the free afternoon, Wednesday October 16, from 14:00 to about 20:00.
Su Nuraxi is a settlement consisting of a seventeenth century BC nuraghe, a bastion of four corner towers plus a central one, and a village inhabited from the thirteenth to the sixth century BC, developed around the nuraghe.
The excursion also includes a visit to the Casa Zapata museum in Barumini, a complex residence built in the 17th century AD on the su Nuraxi 'e Cresia Nuragic site. Inside Casa Zapata it is possible to see two towers of the nuraghe.
Su Nuraxi di Barumini is considered the most impressive expression of the Nuragic civilization and was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.
Transportation by bus and entry tickets are included in the fees for registered participants. The visits will be held by professional English speaking Tourist Guides.

Thursday, October 17th: Social Dinner
The conference dinner will be held in the beatiful historical location of Convento San Giuseppe in Cagliari.

The Convento di San Giuseppe, originally a small Medieval country church, in the time of the feudal Giudicati kingdoms, has been turned into convent devoted to prayer and agricultural labour by the Vittorini monks. In the XIX century it became the property of a Cagliari family - who still owns it today - and for more than a century it was still devoted to farming activities a the gates of Cagliari, until the city expanded and engulfed it. Almost thirty years ago, after a careful and loving restoration, it was reborn as a place to welcome, meet and celebrate.
Conference Dinner (and transportation by bus) is included in the fees for registered participants. Details on the pick up time and location will be communicated at the registration desk.
