Il meeting si propone di fornire un quadro aggiornato dello status, delle prospettive e delle potenzialità scientifiche e tecnologiche dei progetti di strumentazione per l’ESO Extremely Large Telescope a guida italiana, in particolar modo MORFEO e ANDES.

Oltre ad una prima parte dedicata alla presentazione degli strumenti e degli obiettivi scientifici, ci sarà uno spazio dedicato alle proposte e alla  discussione di  nuove idee e delle sinergie con altra strumentazione (ELT e non solo). Il meeting sarà anche l’occasione per favorire nuove collaborazioni e per ampliare il coinvolgimento sia scientifico che tecnologico, con uno sguardo particolare ai giovani.

Per coloro che non potranno essere presenti fisicamente, sarà possibile seguire il meeting in modalità ibrida tramite un link Google Meet.

The aim of the meeting is to share an up-to-date overview of the status, prospects, and scientific and technological potential of the Italian-led instrumentation projects for the ESO Extremely Large Telescope, in particular MORFEO and ANDES.

In addition to an initial session dedicated to the presentation of the instruments and their scientific objectives, time will be devoted to proposals and to the discussion of new ideas and synergies with other instrumentation (not only ELT). The meeting will also provide an opportunity to foster new collaborations and to broaden both scientific and technological involvement, especially for young members of the community.

For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will be available in hybrid mode via a Google Meet link.
