As part of the social activities of Active Galactic Nuclei XVI: A Sea of Discoveries, an informal football match will take place during the conference week.
Participation in the match is reserved for those who have already expressed their willingness to play.
The event is intended as a friendly opportunity to relax after the scientific sessions, enjoy some sport, and spend time together in an informal and collaborative atmosphere. The spirit of the match is non-competitive and based on fair play, team spirit, and fun.

Date: Monday, 15 June 2026
Time: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The match will be played on a 6-a-side pitch, with substitutions. A total of 15+1 participants are expected to take part.
The pitch has a latest-generation artificial turf surface. Football boots suitable for artificial turf are recommended.
In addition to the football pitch, changing rooms equipped with showers will be available to participants.
What to bring
Participants are kindly asked to bring comfortable sportswear, football boots or trainers, water, and plenty of enthusiasm.
