Description
In just a few months, JWST has started to transform our understanding of the epoch of cosmic dawn. In this talk, I will present the recent results from early JWST observations showing a possible accelerated evolution of the first galaxies and structures. I will focus on the results from the GLASS-JWST survey that provided the first evidence of a high abundance of UV-bright galaxies at z>9, and led to the discovery of a possible overdensity at z~10. I will discuss the potential implications for cosmology and prospects for future investigations of the first galaxy populations.
