Ten years after the first direct detection of gravitational waves by the LVK collaboration, the upcoming projects Einstein Telescope, LISA and LGWA, together with high-energy neutrinos recently detected by Km3Net (together with Ice-Cube), are going to offer an exceptional context to reason on the scientific goals and opportunities for new discoveries in multi-messenger research. This is made possible also thanks to the new generation of instruments, both already operating and still in construction with a significant Italian contribution, which are revolutionising electromagnetic observations at all wavelengths.
Starting from the experience and results obtained by the GRAWITA collaboration, also thanks to the recent project METE, the goal of this meeting is to stimulate a discussion on the scientific objectives and organisation of the Italian multi-messenger community, as well as on the interdisciplinary and innovative aspects that this research field will offer in the next decade.
