We value the participation of every member of the scientific community attending "The many tones of accretion – to the memory of Tomaso Belloni." We want every attendee to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to others throughout the conference.

The conference organizers, SOC, and LOC are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

Expectations

  • Behave professionally. Harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate.

  • Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees.

  • Communicate appropriately. All communication should be suited for a professional audience of varying backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue or talk.

Definition of Harassment Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.

  • Sexual images in public spaces.

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.

  • Harassing photography or recording.

  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.

  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.

Consequences Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Attendees violating these rules may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the organizers without a refund.
