Scientific Programme

The scientific programme of the WISA meeting will be organised around the following topics:

  1. Wave generation, energy transport, dissipation, and heating
  2. Instabilities
  3. Seismology of solar and stellar atmospheres
  4. Novel diagnostic techniques and forward modelling

The meeting will start on the morning of September 23th, and will finish around noon on September 26th. The afternoon of September 25th will be dedicated to social excursions, and the conference dinner will be held on September 24th. A welcome reception will be offered on Monday 22th late afternoon.
