Scientific Programme

The scientific programme of the WISA meeting will be organised around the following core topics:

  1. Wave generation, energy transport, dissipation, and heating
  2. Instabilities
  3. Seismology of solar and stellar atmospheres
  4. Novel diagnostic techniques and forward modelling

The meeting will begin on the morning of September 23, and conclude around noon on September 26.

A welcome reception will take place on the late afternoon of Monday, September 22.

The conference dinner is scheduled for the evening of September 24, and the afternoon of September 25 will be reserved for social excursions.
