Nelle riunioni plenarie di gennaio-febbraio è emerso il grande interesse da parte dell'intero personale dell'Osservatorio di avere un paio di giornate dove approfondire le reciproche ricerche in corso.
In effetti, lo scopo centrale degli OAPd days è quello di offrire una panoramica scientifica aggiornata e attuale delle attività INAF (anche in collaborazione con i colleghi di UNIPD) di Padova e di Asiago.
Con le presentazioni sulle attività e sui filoni di ricerca principali che si portano avanti nella nostra struttura, dovremmo alla fine delle due giornate avere tutti un’idea di chi fa cosa, della composizione dei gruppi, di quali sono i risultati chiave (recenti o meno recenti) e/o le sfide del prossimo futuro. Il main target è di tipo scientifico-teconologico, ma sarà anche certamente una bella occasione per stare insieme (e, per alcuni, conoscersi).
Il formato prescelto è quello di presentazioni snelle da 15 minuti l'una più discussione con un solo rappressentante per gruppo che illustra le attività e i risultati.
Un certo numero di sottoprogetti o altre linee di ricerca vengono invece presentati in una sessione poster con tempo dedicato alla discussione durante i coffee break e la pausa pranzo.
Ci auguriamo che sia un'occasione in cui il contributo di tutti possa essere condiviso.

At the January-February plenary meetings, it became clear that the entire observatory staff was very interested in having a couple of days where they could deepen their mutual ongoing research.
Indeed, the central aim of the OAPd days is to provide an up-to-date and current scientific overview of INAF activities (also in collaboration with UNIPD colleagues) in Padua and Asiago.
With presentations on the main activities and research strands being carried out in our facility, we should at the end of the two days all have an idea of who is doing what, the composition of the groups, what are the key results (recent or less recent) and/or the challenges for the near future. The main target audience is scientific-technological, but it will also certainly be a nice opportunity to get together (and, for some, to get to know each other).
The chosen format is lean presentations of 15 minutes each plus discussion with one representative per group presenting activities and results.
A number of sub-projects or other lines of research are instead presented in a poster session with time devoted to discussion during coffee breaks and lunch.
We hope this will be an occasion where everyone's contribution can be shared.
