Description
The Large-Sized Telescope (LST-1) is the first 23-m-diameter prototype telescope for the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO) and best suited for observations in the energy band from 20 GeV to approximately 200 GeV. The telescope was inaugurated on La Palma, Canary Islands, in 2018 and is performing regular observations on a wide range of astrophysical sources in order to verify its scientific capabilities. In this contribution, I will report about the first scientific results achieved with LST-1.
