Description

Arrakihs is an ESA fast-class mission aimed at probing dark matter and the formation of Milky Way-type galaxies through ultra-deep imaging of faint stellar halos. By providing statistics on tidal streams, diffuse halos, and satellite populations, the mission will test the ΛCDM framework. This work presents the preliminary validation results of the NIR channel using a 1.8 µm cut-off H2RG prototype operated at 150 K, comparing different configuration modes in terms of noise and signal integrity. The electro-optical characterization includes PTC, linearity, full well, IPC, and dark current.
