How to get to ASI

From Fiumicino Airport directly to ASI (and vice versa)

  •  Option 1 (suggested): taxi (30-40 min, depending from traffic)

  •  Option 2: Follow indications on how to reach Rome, then on how to reach ASI from Rome  (about 1h40m)

It is possible to book a taxi at fixed rate:

  •  up to 3 – 4 persons (car): 50 Euro

  •  from 5 to 8 persons (van) 60 Euro

If interested to this service send an email to flavia.calderone at inaf.it specifying: date, time and number of the arrival/return flight. Please indicate also if you agree to share the taxi with other participants. We will provide to merge reservations within 15 min max of arrival/departure time. Reservation will be confirmed by email from Flavia.


From Fiumicino Airport to Rome (and vice versa)

  • Option 1: Public transportation. Our preferred solution is the direct train to Termini Railway Station. From Termini station there are tow metro lines (A, B)

  • Option 2: Taxi

Taxi for the center of Rome should ensure a fixed rate of 48 Euro. Anyway, it is possible to book a taxi at fixed rate:

  •  up to 3 – 4 persons (car): 40 Euro

  •  from 5 to 8 persons (van) 50 Euro

From Rome to ASI

  •  By Subway line A, direction “Anagnina”, stop at the “Anagnina” station. Then there are two options:

  •  bus n. 20: exit at the bus stop in Via Cambridge

  •  taxi (5-10 minute run, about 15 Euro)

Warning: if you take the bus, take into account that the bus stop is 500 m far from the ASI entrance.
