HOW TO REACH ABANO TERME: Abano Terme is located at about 15 km from Padua (Padova).
By bus: Lines "A", "M", "T", and "AT" link Padua and Abano Terme BUSITALIA (default: Italian. To change language, scroll until the end of the page, the language menu will be on the left ). The bus station is very close to the Railway Station.
Padua is connected to other italian and european cities by a service of long-distance buses FLIXBUS. They arrive to the Padua bus station which closes to the Railway station.
By car: Abano Terme is accessible from the A4 (Milan - Venice) motorway and from the A13 (Bologna - Padua).
By train: Padua is linked to Milan, Venice and Rome by two operators: Trenitalia and ITALO. There are fast connection between those cities during the day. Padua is also easily reachable by trains from several main cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Abano can be reached via regional train from Padova (Trenitalia). The trip takes about 10 min. Typically, there is one train every hour.
By plane: The closest airports to Padua are Venice Marco Polo International Airport (VCE, 50 km) and Treviso Antonio Canova International Airport (TSF, 60 km). The former is served by several major air carriers which connect the city to all the main destination around the world. The latter is mainly served by low-cost companies such as Ryanair and Wizz Air.
To reach Abano Terme hotels from the airports by taxi there are two alternatives:

The bus arrives at Padua bus station where you can use the taxi, bus or train to get to Abano Terme.
