By car
Padova is accessible from the A4 (Milan - Venice) motorway and from the A13 (Bologna - Padova).
By train
The main train lines reaching Padova are the Milan - Venice and Rome - Venice. There are fast connections between those cities during the day. The city is also easily reachable by trains from several major cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
By bus
The city is connected to other Italian and European cities by long-distance buses.
By plane
The closest airports to Padova are Venice Marco Polo International Airport (VCE) and Treviso Antonio Canova International Airport (TSF).
Venice Marco Polo International Airport: This airport is served by several major air carriers that connect the city to all the main destinations around the world.
Treviso Antonio Canova International Airport: This airport is mainly served by low-cost companies such as Ryanair and Wizz Air.
To reach Padova from the airports you can use either of two services:
Bus Service
Two bus services from Airports to Padova centre stops just at the exit of the airports. The name of the bus company are BUSITALIA and Mobilità di Marca.
At the Venice Airport, upon exit from the airport there are several buses to the railway station Mestre-Venezia from where there are direct trains for Padova.

From Padova to Treviso Airport:
Monday to Saturday: There are at least two buses every hour, from 5:30 to 20:15.
Sunday: There is one bus every hour, with some exceptions, from 7:00 to 20:15.
ATTENTION: The buses to/from Treviso-Padova are direct. You DO NOT have to get off the bus at Noale.

The travel takes about 65 minutes from both airports.
Tickets can be bought inside the airports, or on the bus at higher fare.
The bus arrives at Padova bus station and then you can get a taxi to your Hotel in Padova from the nearby railway station.
