Description

We are living in an era where artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we conduct research, accelerating scientific discoveries. AI has already contributed to numerous breakthroughs, and its role in shaping the future of science will only continue to grow.

In the Florentine area, many groups across various institutes—such as the Department of Physics and Astronomy, INAF, CNR, and INFN—are conducting cutting-edge research that leverages AI in diverse fields, including astronomy, complex systems, high-energy physics, biophysics, medical physics, quantum physics etc. We believe this presents a unique opportunity to establish a broad inter-institute collaboration on AI4Physics.

Please note that the program is currently in the process of being finalized.
