Oral presentations at the Outreach Session
Each presentation will have an allocated time of 5 minutes, to leave after the talks 20 minutes for a general discussion of solar outreach opportunities. We particularly encourage young researchers to join us and we look forward to an animated session and discussion.
Presentations must be prepared in Office PowerPoint (pptx) format with videos included directly into the presentation (do not use links to external files/web movies), and slides must be in 16:9 format. Alternatively, PDF format is also accepted if the presentation does not contain movies.
Speakers are not allowed to use their own laptop for the presentation, but a conference PC will be available. For this reason, presentations must be uploaded to INDICO or directly to the conference PC at least one day prior to the presentation day.
To upload the presentation to INDICO, go to your personal abstract page (following the link you received with the acceptance e-mail), then click "Go to Contribution" and add the presentation file in the "Presentation materials" section (using the small pencil button on the right). When uploading your presentation, you can choose to keep it public (anyone can download it) or restrict its visibility to others by activating the "Protected" button. Please note that the webpage administrators can always access and download your presentation for technical purposes.
Speakers will be given the opportunity to check and rehearse their presentations during one of the coffee breaks prior to the presentation day. The LOC is not responsible for any technical issue if the presentation has not been checked in advance by the speaker.
