Description
In the next decade many new optical/near-IR instruments will become available,
including new MOS facilities with large field of view (MOONS and PFS), the MOSAIC spectrograph on the ELT and the planned 10 mt class dedicated telescopes (WST and MSE).
These will enable large spectroscopic surveys which will allow us to detect and study unprecedented samples of galaxies well into in the epoch of reionization and over very large areas.
I will briefly discuss the synergies between such surveys and SKA to unveal the baryon and energy interchange between galaxies and the intergalactic medium during the process of reionization.
