Description

In this talk, I will outline the activities in the field of numerical astrophysics at INAF-OAPa and the role of the local Sistema Computazionale per l'Astrofisica Numerioca (SCAN). The availability of local computational resources fostered the realization of serveral astrophysics projects, representing a springboard for large computational programs which used massive international HPC systems. I will present a few remarks on the future of such clusters in the PNRR and Exa-scale computing era, from a INAF research structure perspective.
