The Social dinner will be held at "La Lanterna" restaurant on 12th September at 7.30pm. The Social dinner is fish-based meals and a music programme is prevised. Please fill in the form by September 3rd if you are interested in attending the dinner.

How to reach Trieste
The closest airports are: Trieste Airport and Venezia Marco Polo Airport. From Trieste airport you may catch a taxi (40 min., website: https://taxitriesteairport.it/wp/ or telephone number +39 0481 778000,cost about 65 €), a shuttle bus (60 min., linea G51, timetable) or a train (40 min., website: https://www.trenitalia.com/, 4.40 €) to the Trieste railway station (Piazza della Libertà).
From Venice Marco Polo airport, by train or bus. Train connection brings you to Venezia Mestre railway station in 25 min. There, the fast train brings you to Trieste in about 2 hours. On the other way, the Mestre-Venezia airport buses take approximately half an hour from the airport to the train station Venezia Mestre, where passengers switch to trains that run direct to Trieste. Train tickets must be validated at the validating machines before boarding trains; fines for carrying non-validated tickets are high. Another, more convenient and economical option is to take a bus operated by the bus company Flix Bus, which departs several times a day from Marco Polo airport direct to Trieste.
