Q - There will be a remote option for the conference?
A - Yes, remote attendance is supported for all sessions through a videoconferencing system (Zoom) even if the conference is held in presence. For remote attendance there is a reduced registration fee (50 EUR, as specified in the Registration Fees section).
Q - Is it possible to have an invitation letter for VISA application?
A - Yes, please register to the conference in the indico page and then make your request to ml4astro@inaf.it specifying your personal data and what information you need for the VISA.
Q - Is it possible to have financial support for travel and/or accommodation?
A - At the moment, this option is not foreseen due to budget restrictions. If extra-budget is available we will consider this possibility only for participants with oral presentation. In the meanwhile, we are open to collect support requests from participants. For this, we invite you to first register in the indico page, send an abstract for a contribution, and send any request for support to ml4astro@inaf.it.
Q - I'm trying to submit an abstract but when trying to register for an indico account I received an email asking for a "reference person at INAF". What should I do?
A - This is the way used by Indico admins to moderate registration requests. In this case please provide the name of the event "ML4ASTRO".
