The IVOA (Northern Spring) May 2025 Interoperability Meeting will be hosted at the Edward St. John Learning & Teaching Center at University of Maryland (College Park, MD, USA) from Monday June 2 to Friday June 6, 2025. The meeting is financially supported by NAVO, the NASA Astronomical Virtual Observatories, and University of Maryland. We also acknowledge support from the Space Telescope Science Institute, NASA ACROSS and the Joint Space-Science Institute.

The meeting will be organised in person, by preference, but with the possibility to follow the main sessions remotely (in a hybrid solution).

Please consider the time zone of the meeting will be the one of the venue, that is Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC-4), with sessions starting at 9:00 EDT and wrapping up usually at 17:30 EDT. On the last day, Friday, the meeting will end at 1pm EDT to accommodate travel.

The Interop Program will be made up of sessions managed by the IVOA Working Groups (WG) and Interest Groups (IG). Closed session TCG and Exec meetings are scheduled on Sunday June 1st, 2025 from 10:00 to 18:00 CEST at the same venue.

You can also contribute through the Call for Abstracts available on this same website (left hand side menu). The deadline for contributions is Friday 9th May.

Besides WG/IG specific session, plenary session topics will be organised (Please refer to the Interop Program page for all relevant details).

Registration (see relevant link on the left hand side menu) will be closed 15 days prior to the meeting's start (May 15, 2025) to allow local organisation activities. Switching to/from remote participation will also be allowed only up to the same date for similar reasons.

For logistics and accommodation details and hints, please have a look at the page on the left menu. It is highly suggested both to register and book your accommodation as early as possible because the UMD campus is busy.

IVOA has a code of conduct of the IVOA, that is available here. Please, be sure you are aware of its contents before actually registering for the event.

A glossary of terms and acronyms used in the VO is available here.
