Description
From paintings and sculpture to music and poetry, the historic scientific mission of Rosetta and its epic narration have inspired many artists around the world. As a member of the Rosetta communications team for ESA, in 2016 I started compiling the Rosetta Art Tribute, an online repository of artistic tributes to Rosetta, Philae & Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. In this presentation, I will present a selection of the artwork and pop culture references as a homage to the scientists and engineers who made the mission possible, whose work left a mark not only in the planetary science world but also in global culture.
