The IVOA (Northern Fall) October 2022 Interoperability Meeting will be held as an online event.
The Interop program will be made up of sessions managed by the IVOA Working Groups (WG) and Interest Groups (IG).
A NewComers session will take place on Monday October 17, followed by the Interop meeting starting on Tuesday, October 18 and closing on Thursday, October 20.
A VO in the Cloud plenary session is planned to discuss Science Platform interfaces and other technology related topics of interest to the community.
The programme is available and the session internals will be finalised by group coordinators.
The meeting organization will be similar to our other online Interop meetings:
- zoom as our shared remote service;
- etherpad for live notes and questions;
- gather.town for side/splinter meetings;
- recorded sessions available as soon as ready.
Presentations will be kept to a single thread (no parallel sessions) and a good amount of the time will be saved for input and discussion. Sessions will be recorded and posted so that if someone misses a session it will have a chance to go back and view it. Scheduled sessions will be worked so to have reasonable times in your time zone for 2 of the 3 sessions a day.
IVOA has a code of conduct of the IVOA, that is available here. Please, consider reading it before actually registering for the event.
A glossary of terms and acronyms used in the VO is available here.
