Travel
From the Ronchi dei Legionari Airport the best option to reach Trieste is by train (Trieste Airport to Trieste Centrale station). The railway station is connected to the terminal by an 8-minute covered pedestrian walkway. Trains run to Trieste Centrale approximately 50 times a day, taking about 30 minutes with fares starting from 3.80 EUR. Please check the Trieste Airport website for further details.
From Trieste Centrale station, take a taxi (10 min) or bus line 1 (20 min) from the terminus in Largo Città di Santos (turn right upon exiting the station). Get off at the Via San Giacomo in Monte / Via del Bosco stop and continue on foot along Via Bramante.
On all Trieste Trasporti buses, only the electronic validator (Eva) is available. It allows you to validate paper tickets via QR code or purchase tickets directly on board using a card or contactless device. A single-ride ticket costs 1.50 EUR and is valid for 60 minutes. Please check the Trieste Trasporti website for more details.
