With observations from the SHARK-VIS high-resolution camera, mounted downstream of the extreme adaptive optics of the LBT telescope, we recently obtained images of the jovian moons Io and Europa, and of a few main-belt asteroids, showing details never captured before from ground, and effectively reaching the theoretical diffraction limit of an 8-meter telescope at visible wavelengths. This achievements, made possible by combining the SHARK-VIS fast imaging approach with the current state of the art blind deconvolution techniques, promises a new era of planetary imaging and already allowed us to witness new surface changes in the Io volcanic landscape and to reveal the unexpected trilobate morphology of the asteroid Nysa also discovering it's unknown satellite. These results and techniques will be presented, together with our plan to further improve them in view of the future giant telescopes.
