Participants are encouraged to book their accommodation well in advance. Accommodations around Grignano and Miramare will allow you to reach IFPU via a nice walk. Barcola is a bit farther (4 km), but you can still walk, or take the bus number 6. The downtown Trieste area (7 km away) offers many more choices for accommodation. In the latter case, IFPU can be reached by the frequent bus number 6, and by the less frequent local train to Miramare station. You can also use your car, but parking during the day in the Miramare area can be very challenging.
