The school is designed to teach how to transform complex data into visual content and to introduce participants to the development of applications for the study and communication of cultural and scientific content—particularly astronomical data—by creating narratives through images, videos, and innovative digital tools. Special attention will be given to the emerging synergies between computer graphics and artificial intelligence during the sessions in Palermo.

This five-day intensive course is intended for students and graduates, and offers an introduction to 3D reconstruction, the use of AI tools, virtual and augmented reality, and methodologies and technologies for modeling, processing, and integrating virtual reconstructions into real-time spatial systems or computer graphics environments (web, desktop, mobile).

The program includes extensive hands-on sessions with Blender, covering modeling, shading, texturing, and animation, as well as web3D and practical applications of artificial intelligence in the fields of science and cultural heritage.

Please note: all lectures and workshops will be held in Italian.
