Description
The SRCNet project began work back in 2022, since that time the commitment from all SKA countries has increased with a resource board now in place pledging people and compute resources into the project. We now have our first nine SRCNet nodes, which we refer to our “SRCNet 0.1” system. These nodes, including an Italian node, have been used to undertake test campaigns and build operational understanding of the system. Alongside this we continue to develop our science use cases and software components aiming to be able to support the SKAO’s Science Verification phase on Low, hopefully in 2027.
