Description

The African Millimeter Telescope (AMT) is now poised to become a reality in less than half-a-decade. In anticipation of the arrival of the AMT, a number of simulations have been carried out to explore the possible improvement in UV-coverage of various VLBI networks and the Event Horizon Project. In this talk, I will present some of the results of the simulations to show the significant impact of the AMT to the Global VLBI Network.
