Brera
The small and elegant Brera neighbourhood is located halfway between the Quadrilatero d’Oro, famous for Milan’s reputable fashion houses, and the Sforzesco Castle. Piazza Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Via Montenapoleone are a 5 minute walk away.

The beating heart of the neighbourhood is Palazzo Brera, hosting Pinacoteca di Brera, a gallery with one of the world’s most spectacular collections of Italian paintings (Andrea Mantegna, Piero della Francesca, Tintoretto, Caravaggio and Raffaello, among others), the Accademia di Belle Arti, the Brera Astronomical Observatory and the Botanic Garden.
