- Parking information
The historical centre of Cefalu' is a traffic limited area controlled by a camera working all day and all night, which means that you will have to look for a parking first because cars are not allowed throughout the day (not even to unload).
When the car will be parked you will have the possibility to call a taxi that will drop you directly by the accommodation for about 10 euro every 3 people (we can arrange that for you if requested).
There are 4 different typologies of parking:
Blue lines
These are hourly parking that cost 1 euro/hour (or slightly less depending by the area), from 08:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 (up to 24:00 near the beach). You can buy an expiring ticket by a few automatic machines labelled with a blue "P"
White lines
These parking can either be free for everybody or just for residents having a PASS. Both of them are preceded by a cartel having a blue background and a white "P" letter, but those reserved for residents will also have a second cartel, below the blue one, with a white background and an indication reporting who is allowed to use that parking. On the other hand, if there isn't any cartel other than the blue one, that parking can be used by anybody.
Following an example of both cartels: the first one is free for everybody while the second is free for residents only.
Free parking areas
The largest public area is by the Harbour, where it is allowed to park for free only on the square with a small petrol station, between white lines.
Paid parking areas
They are large outdoor spaces owned by privates and used as hourly and (mostly) daily parking. The two we advise are both located near the beach, one is closer to the historical centre but more expensive while the other is further but much cheaper. IMPORTANT NOTICE: we do not cohoperate with them and so we can not guarantee these prices will always be applied, the information we are giving are intended to be used as reference.
Closer parking: pricing changes depending by the season and you can pay up to 12 and up to 24 hours. It usually costs between 3 and 7 euro for 12 hours and between 6 and 14 euro for 24 hours, with possible discounts in case of a weekly stay. Phone number: 0039 339 7556630
Further parking: it costs 5 euro/day throughout the year. Phone number: 0039 328 7340900
