How to Get Here
BY AIR
You can choose among three airports in Milan: Milan Linate Airport (LIN), Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), and Orio al Serio Airport (BGY).
From Milan Linate Airport (LIN):
Take Metro Line M4 (Blue Line) from the airport to Argonne (approximately 10 minutes).
From Argonne, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take Trolleybus Line 93 towards Lambrate and get off at Via Celoria (Istituto Besta).
From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP):
Take the Malpensa Express train from the airport to either Milano Cadorna (about 30 minutes) or Milano Centrale (about 50 minutes).
From either station, take Metro Line 2 (Green Line) towards Gessate/Cologno and get off at Piola.
The Department of Physics is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.
Estimated travel time: 50 minutes – 1 hour 30 minutes
From Orio al Serio Airport (BGY):
Take the Autostradale shuttle bus from the airport to Milano Centrale (about 1 hour and 10 minutes).
From Milano Centrale, take Metro Line 2 (Green Line) towards Gessate/Cologno and get off at Piola (3 stops).
The Department of Physics is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.

BY TRAIN
Several railway stations in Milan provide convenient access to the Città Studi area, including:
