WP4 periodic meeting.

Agenda: 

• communications from the Spoke;
• update of Tasks status;
• aob;

 

Minutes:

• Communication of funds availability for IG additionals, interest showed by GAIA team to include with more detail this use case with database substitution and use of the same technology offered by Cherry Data;
• News for Cascade funding: could it fit the GAIA necessities? The answer is no since it must ensure an inter spoke activity, the in that case is not guarantee (open call to external companies).
• Update for task 1: started activities around dms with pluto, gaia, biferals;
• Task 2 : advancement with 
  • the rucio installation and testing;
  • the rucio ancillary db;
  • the data importer.
• Task 3: starting of activities on:
  • analysis of requirement for the web portal for GAIA;
  • approach of VO standards for data publication;
  • analysis of the available portal generator code;
• Infrastructure issue: we need an infrastructure where to deploy the services: apply for infn cloud resources of about 10 TB of disk space and several VMs.
