The recent LHAASO discoveries of candidate PeVatron Galactic sources and multi-TeV emission from GRB 221009A open new and exciting science windows.

The upcoming ASTRI Mini-Array of nine Cherenkov telescopes, being built at the Observatorio del Teide (Canary Islands), will soon complement ultra high-energy facilities thanks to its excellent angular and energy resolution above a few TeV.

In the framework of a scientific collaboration between INAF and LHAASO scientists, we are organising the "ASTRI and LHAASO Workshop" at INAF/IASF Milano on 2023 March 7-8.

The Workshop aims to provide a review of both LHAASO results and future perspectives for the ASTRI Mini-Array through invited talks, having in mind also the forthcoming implementation of other gamma rays facilities like CTAO and SWGO.

A Discussion Session is planned at the end of each presentation block to allow a lively Q&A session.

The main topics are:

  • VHE and UHE facilities
  • PeVatrons sources
  • UHE GRBs and constraints on the standard physics
  • Multi-wavelength Synergies
  • Future gamma-rays facilities

The Workshop is organised in a hybrid format to allow a wide attendance.
Please consider the current dates tentative because of the pandemic situation.

No registration fee is required, but please register by March 2nd to allow us to organise the Workshop more efficiently.

See you in Milano!
