I will shortly illustrate the computational challenge posed by modelling the mechanical feedback from AGNs jets on their host galaxies, and its effect on stellar populations. Few animations of recent simulations performed on up-to-date platforms will help to illustrate the computational problems of migrating individual simulations to a cosmological context.
