I will describe the kind of cosmological simulations performed by our hpc group in Trieste, ranging from galaxies to galaxy clusters to cosmological volumes. I will briefly discuss our main simulation code, and its future planned developement. In this context, I will also discuss our needs, and our wishes, in terms of hardware and hardware architectures.
