  of Tomaso Belloni\, whose pioneering contributions to X-ray timing and sp
 ectral states in compact accreting systems continue to shape the field.\nT
 his conference\, to be held in Cefalù (Sicily\, Italy) on 7–11 Septembe
 r 2026\, will bring together the international high-energy astrophysics co
 mmunity to discuss recent advances in the understanding of accretion proce
 sses\, variability and jet formation in X-ray binaries and related compact
