Reaching Trieste
The closest airport is Trieste Airport, with direct train connections to the city (30 minutes trip). Alternatively, Venice Marco Polo and Treviso Antonio Canova offer more connections and are about 2 hours away (bus+train).
Reaching ICTP from the city centre
Bus number 6 runs from piazzale Gioberti to Grignano, the venue is at the last stop. Timetable (every 15 minutes)
