 Quantum Mechanics\nA Workshop of the Italian Society for the History of Ph
 ysics and Astronomy to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishmen
 t of quantum mechanics (1925)\nUniversity of Milano\, Department of Physic
 s\n9-11 December 2025\nThe Workshop\nThe Meeting is related to the celebra
 tion of the rise of quantum mechanics in 1925. It aims to promote research
  in the history of physics and astronomy in Italy\, carried out by academi
 c historians\, independent scholars and school teachers interested to expl
 ore the role of the history of these disciplines in contemporary science e
 ducation. At the same time\, the Meeting provides an opportunity to streng
 then existing collaborations and establish new connections among SISFA mem
 bers\, other scholarly societies\, and researchers working in related fiel
 ds.\nHistorians of physics and astronomy are invited to participate\, and 
 the invitation is extended to all scholars and researchers with similar in
 terests.\nTopics\nProposals for oral communications should mainly address 
 the history of quantum physics and cosmology\, also in connection with the
  related areas of mathematics\, chemistry\, biology\, neurobiology\, infor
 mation theory\, epistemology and the history of science and culture. Studi
 es focusing on historical instruments and experiments and documentary sour
 ces regarding the mentioned fields are also relevant to the purposes of th
 e Conference\, as well as the applications of the history of physics and c
 osmology in science education and museum displays.\nThematic sessions:\n\n

 ct submission\nRegistration is mandatory to attend the conference. There w
 ill not be any conference fee.\nAbstracts of oral communications should be
  submitted in English at workshop@sisfa.org.\nAll abstracts will be peer-r
