Speaker:
DrFrancesco Gabriele Saturni(Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF))
SL has run some preliminary simulations, changing some parameters to what was agreed in previous discussions. There are some of them that require attention, for which there is a discussion underway.
RW explains that some parameters could indeed affect the comparison between the simulations and the real data, but for the CDR their update is not strictly required. Other parameters (e.g., the camera window transmission) are being updated now, with the relative documentation being written. For these parameters, a valid strategy for the CDR is to adopt pessimistic versions in the simulations to verify that the system stays within the CTA requirements.
SE asks how the WT8 wants to track the status of each parameter. FGS and SL agree on a shared Drive Excel document (in the spirit of what was done for Prod6 parameters). RW suggests to copy the actual Prod6 spreadsheet; there is also a GitLab repository with several useful documents and open issues, that may be rebuilt for the current user case.

Status of the SST prototype high-level simulations20m
Speakers:
DrSabrina Einecke(University of Adelaide), DrSimon Lee(University of Adelaide)
About the SST prototype simulations, FGS suggests to postpone them to when the CDR documents will be almost ready. RW, SE and SL agree, unless some hard deadline must be set for this activity.

Document for engineering simulations20m
Speakers:
DrGianluca Giavitto(DESY), Richard White
RW presents one of the old SST documents that contains all the Prod4 versions of the MC parameters; many plots from this document must be updated and compared with the CTA requirements, whereas the rest of the document can be copied into the WT8 Performance Analysis Report for the CDR.
SL asks if the low-level performance studies should be done with dedicated software instruments or with CTAPipe; RW answers that many features are being cloned to CTAPipe right now, and thus it is good to use CTAPipe for this kind of studies too.

CM reports that there are no updates about the STR, since it should not have stand-alone critical aspects to be verified with simulative studies.
