COVID-19 Regulations

Due to the still uncertain situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, this workshop may suffer from unpredictable cancellations or delays due to laws and regulations by the various national and local authorities put in force to control/mitigate the outbreak. The organizers will not be responsible for those events and the effect of cancellations/delays.

In case that pandemic would worsen again impeding the in-person participation the workshop would be postponed to 2023.

In order to reduce the risk of diffusion of COVID-19:

  • the attendance will be limited to a maximum number of people still to be defined, and for this reason all the registrations will be manually approved by the organizers
  • additional cleaning of the room will be applied
  • social distance will be maintained between the participants in the conference room and during the transports
  • limited remote connection to the conference will be provided
  • further measures are applied during the conference and will be presented on the site

It is currently ongoing a continuous easying of the restrictions and the requirements to prevent the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the following, we mention the current regulations. However, please check carefully the most recent updates on the website of the Italian government here.

In compliance with the current Italian legislation, all the participants are allowed to attend the conference only:

  • Wearing a face mask will be highly recommended in indoor rooms during the conference;

  • Wearing a FFP2 face mask will be mandatory during transports;

  • Maintaining a social distance of at least one metre from another person in any indoor space (mask is recommended, except in over-crowded situations when is required).

The above restrictions do not apply to subjects excluded from the vaccination on the basis of a valid medical certification issued according to the criteria defined by the Ministry of Health.

Members of the staff at the entrance of the Observatory of Rome (OAR) are in charge of making sure that all the conference participants comply with the aforementioned measures.
