The Ariel Main Stream (AMS) project "Ariel and the astrochemical link between circumstellar disks and planets" is a INAF project with the goal of supporting the adoption of the Ariel mission by ESA and enhancing the national participation to Ariel with a particular focus on the study of planetary formation.

AMS is funded by INAF through its Main Stream funding scheme and recently passed its mid-term milestone. The workshop will include a review presentation of the past activities up to the adoption of Ariel, short presentations on the ongoing activities by the team members, and a open discussion on the activities to be performed in support of the Ariel mission during the second term of the project.

The goal of the workshop is to foster further and deeper collaborations within the national consortium. Additional presentations on subject of interest to Ariel and AMS are therefore welcome and encouraged.
