 ownSTEM and #ShutDownAcademia initiative we decided to move all talks sche
 duled for Wednesday\, 10 June to the next days.\n\nTopics\n\nAfter October
  2021 the VST operations\, currently managed by ESO\, will evolve into a d
 ifferent INAF-ESO agreement\, which is still to be discussed. This means t
 hat in the near future the INAF community can in principle have access to 
 up to 100% of the telescope time. In view of this approaching deadline\, I
 NAF has recently appointed the "VST beyond 2021" working group to study th
 e possible science cases and options for the VST future. As a first step o
 f this process\, the working group “VST beyond 2021” has issued a cal
 l for ideas (deadline: 2020 March 2)\, aimed at surveying the INAF communi
 ty interest in the use of VST for the next decade. \n\nDuring this worksh
 op the results of the call for ideas will be presented and discussed. The
  outcome of this two-step survey (the call for ideas and the workshop) wil
 l be used by the “VST beyond 2021” working group to prepare the final 
 report that will be presented to the INAF management.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\
